The Gini family’s roots in the Soave Classico region can be traced back to the seventh century. They currently own 25 hectares of vineyards situated on the most exceptional hillside location within the appellation. Their commitment to maintaining very low yields, practicing minimal-intervention viticulture, and dedicating themselves to showcasing the distinctive character of each vineyard plot results in wines that rank not only among the finest Soave wines but also among Italy’s top white wines. Olinto Gini, along with his sons Sandro and Claudio, has recently completed their stunning new winery. This state-of-the-art facility is built deep into the rocky and tufaceous hillside of Monteforte d’Alpone, providing optimal natural control over temperature and humidity.
