Bodega Ferrer Bobet is a winery located in the Priorat wine region of Catalonia, Spain. The winery was founded by Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet in 2002. The terroir in Priorat is close to crazy. You have to be a bit maniacal, not to mention dedicated, to plant vineyards on rocky steep slopes such as what are typical in Priorat – a winemaker’s dream. The hills are steep with plenty of mineral in the soil, the days are hot, the nights are cool and more often than not there is a breeze coming off the Mediterranean. If you add some winemaking talent and stir, you will have some special wines.
