Champagne JL Vergnon, traces its origins back to 1950. However, it wasn’t until 1985 that Jean-Louis Vergnon embarked on the journey of crafting wines directly from their very own vineyards. Then, in 2002, realizing the immense potential of their exceptional vineyard holdings, primarily located in the village of Le Mesnil, the Vergnon family made a strategic decision.
They brought in the skilled Christophe Constant to oversee all aspects of farming and winemaking. With his boundless enthusiasm and clear sense of purpose, Christophe ushered in significant improvements in how they nurtured their cherished, mature vineyards, including the renowned Les Chetillons.
This transformation resulted in the creation of wines that bore his unique signature—potent and filled with vibrancy. Under Christophe’s dedicated leadership, JL Vergnon has transformed into one of the most captivating champagne producers in the Côtes des Blancs region.
